A successful seminar at the AIKO Honbu

Osu, Last weekend, the 22nd and 23rd of April, we had the AIKO Seminar at the Honbu  in Zuidlaren. During the weekend there were various AIKO Dojo’s present from Italy, Germany, Poland and the Netherlands. The training sessions were lead by various teachers like: Saturday: Shihan Dave Jonkers Shihan Joop Schell Sensei Martin van Emmen Sensei Marc de Roodt Sensei Marcel van den Berg Kickboxing Niels Wilmink Sunday: Hanshi Nico Gordeau Shihan Dave Jonkers Shihan Joop Schell Sensei Martin van Emmen Sensei Marcel van den Berg Sempai Vanessa van den Berg Kickboxing Niels Wilmink During the weekend we had various training sessions; some sessions were basic technique training, some were Kata training and some went more in to advanced combinations and pad training. There were also training sessions in Kickboxing by Martin van Emmen on the Saturday and Sunday. Martin had Niels Wilmink as an assistant who also is a skilled instructor and fighter in Kickboxing. A training was also given by Hanshi Nico Gordeau who is a high ranking Kyokushin teacher who has years of experience, insight and who is a regular guest of the Honbu in Zuidlaren. It was a successful and busy weekend, but everybody learned new things, extending their knowledge and gaining new friends.  Thanks to Shihan Dave Jonkers for organizing this Seminar and we hope to see everybody on the upcoming events organised by the AIKO.
